Litespeed Pisgah (HT) or Orbea Oiz (FS)?

which would you ride for XC? I know many of you are wondering why these two, but let's say I have both of these and can only build up one of them.

durability, stiffness, etc?

I'm not familiar with the comparisons of Titanium to Carbon.... but I know the comparisons of HT to FS

Lets start with I dont ride XC but do respect those that do.

First time I saw Orbea was with the Luna Chix, some sweet CF frames. On the Lightspeed side a Bro has been riding a YBB for over 9 years and it's still ripping trail.

Allot would depend on what you want from a frame, the Orbea is using a similar system to the old GT LTS and the Lightspeed is relying on Ti as a damper. I personally like the feel of a FS over a HT but when I ride my HT I definitely need to be in tune with the bike unlike my 7+" travel FS that camouflages my bad skills or bad day.
Hello Ptf!! can't help you on Ti never had one, but did look at them.........they were nice but other than the Motobecane Fly they were all tooo $$$$$ for me. PLUS I really need some FS due to bad back discs. My ridding buddy has a Fly and really likes it and has a sweet ride but for me.no HT. I looked @ the Orbea Alma, but...........decided on the Oiz, which I do not regret!! It is a really sweet ride my back loves it and the bike is a climbing fool!! (which I am not).In my little mind my bike with a 40 year younger rider would probably climb walls!!
I got great support and help from Paul Alexander and Lonnie @ Orbea Usa and my local dealer Atom Cyclist in El Paso, Tx. Wish you good hunting!!

Your awesome!!!! People like you keep my soon to be 52 self riding. I have a friend who is 65 and is a monster on the climbs but a few very bad accidents in the last year have him on edge. Your 2 great people to look up to, Ride On!!!!
You too are awsome Dog! Darn 52 that is like real old isn't it?? I started out real late into biking, I started roading and doing tri's @ 35 and didn't start in the dirt till I was just about to be 49. I've had to slow down some due to illness but still try to ride. My goals now are to do an easy dirt century. Done several 100km dirt races that were fun and some difficulty.
Gotta keep moving as they say.........I am real slow but I do finish!! Oh yeah have fun!! This way I'll not have to grow up!! I do Love my OIZ!!
Over the last year, I've noticed somewhat of preference for HT over FS. In the last decade, I've had five bikes. The first 3 were FS (2 aluminum and 1 carbon). The two most current were/are titanium HT. I honestly have a ton more fun on HT. Maybe the simplicity and durability frees things up to where...it's all about the ride.

Go with the Ti!
Ride them all then decide!!
