When riding alone, I'm a bit concerned about encountering wildlife. Cuddly "hunny" lovin' black bears and mountain lions most of all.

Now riding with a loaded gun is out of the question. Way too heavy. So I'm considering air horns.

Any thoughts or recommendations would be much appreciated. Thanks so much.

I am up in northern maine, I run into moose, deer, black bear, beavers and skunk too name a few. I am only scared of the skunk!!!! And I have seen two in two days.
