Anyone have recommendations for wheels that are lighter than Race Face ARCs?
Speed costs money. How fast do you want to go?

Your weight, description of type of riding, bike, and intended tire size would be also helpful.

I’m talking mostly about x-country and trail riding.

I recently got an Orbea Rise M20 to go along with my Santa Cruz Heckler MX-S. I’m surprised how much a difference 5lbs can make in the overall feel and handling. I’d like to see if if I can shave 1lb or 2lbs off the Heckler, especially at the front end of the bike and I’d like to get the M20 down to the the Ltd‘s 37 lb weight.

It seems like wheels is the area with the most potential for weight shedding.

I have three sets of We Are One wheels. The last set I bought were Factions for my Stumpjumper and speced with DT350’s with 28 spokes. About 1650 grams. They’re light but not XC racing light. A little under $1400 made in Canada.
