what is the lightest platform that also gives good "grip"? i'm currently using candys, but would like a bmx style platform pedal for working on technical stuff. tipping backwards while clipped in on a steep and tricky climb sucked.

I use the DMR V12 Magnesium pedals.

They are the best platform pedals that I have ever used, and i've tried quite a few different types over the years.

Light, look great, and grip like a beartrap..
