Hello,

I'm not convinced that my "upgraded" and PUSHED Fox RP3 was actually and upgrade afterall.

My question is this - if you use a Ti spring and bolts, how light can you get coil cover w/ decent adjustability? Any suggestions for brands etc.? I would ride it on an Ellsworth id.

Thanks,
SDW

I had a post on this but I cannot find it using the new messy search engine: so here is the info , my Romic is up for sale by the way ...

I just got my RCS Spring for my Romic 7.5 eye-to-eye 2" travel.

Weight saving (digital scale average of 3 weights) is almost as promised by Romic:

Original Spring: 349 grams (450 x 11.2 cm length, 2.25" travel)

RCS Titanium: 192 grams (450 x 10.6 cm, or 2.0" travel)

Saving: 157 grams or 6.5 oz or 0.35 pounds (Romic claimed 0.4).

The Romic is now at 533 grams.

What don't you like about it? PUSH will rework it if you're not happy with it. Give them a call. They might be able to advise on the coil as well. Have you thought about the DHX Air?
