It's not bad. Apparently you can also stand with them if need be. Nice to have another option.

I just wish it were a little more in line with my commute. Could do the park-n-ride thing I guess...
I have yet to try this.
It starts right near my house, it would be a cheap/easy way to get to Mesa/Tempe without driving.
I've been meaning to ask... what is the nearest trailhead to a light rail station? Is there even one close enough?

Yea, we rode it on Saturday, and it was shoulder to shoulder. But even with all those people, a guy was able to hang his BMX with zero problems (despite folks sitting on the bike storage).
the crowds will thin out....especially after may when half the population of Mesa heads north to Manitoba. I lived in DC for a few years and the metro was generally easy to get around on with the exception of when stuff was going on at the Mall (dedication of the WWII memorial, Reagan's funeral, inagurations, 4th of July, etc). Forget trying to get a bike on during special events....otherwise, it was a breeze and don't have any reason to think it will be different here.

Boy it looks so busy....
6am at the end of the line isn't a very popular time apparently. It was about half full within 3 stops.

1.25 each way or 2.5 for the day. I think it's a bit cheaper if you get a multi-day pass.

It is cheaper to drive your car back and forth to work. faster too. plus, no stinky people you have to sit with.

you smell nice - like a fresh bouquet of long stem American Beauty roses set in a Waterford crystal vase sitting on a 348 year old oak side table in the Presidential Suite at the Hassayampa Inn.

Interesting. I've never ridden any trails at Papago Park. I'll have to check that out.
I believe the closest stop to Papago would be 5th st and Mill.... Unless there is a stop down by Town Lake Park ..

Washington and Priest? It would only be a short ride from there to Papago.
I stand corrected. I did not know there was a stop at Priest. It would be much closer.

Yup, I drive by that stop on the way to work every morning. Looks like a good amount of people are actually using the train, which is good.
