I own a Seca 1700 Race light whose light-head, not the battery, has died. At more than ten years old, it is out of warranty. I want to try to to diagnose and repair it since the LEDs are almost certainly good. Has anyone had any luck taking the light-head apart? I am looking for disassembly help first. If I can get it open, I will begin diagnosing the problem to see waht component (switch, IC, etc.) is bad.
