I wouldn't take my daughter AM riding lol
Thanks I was on the fence on getting an XC bike or not for her. We will be riding Northstar as well as single track etc... so I was leaning for a little more bike. She is really light so a 4" xc might work well for her.b-kul said:for used check pinkbike, ridemonkey, etc and of course craigslist. but a 15 year old 5'3'' girl doesnt need an am bike, a light 4'' xc bike should suit her fine on all but the nastiest trails.
yeah, i think even for n* a 4'' bike would be fine. at her size i would check weight first, suspension second. something like an anthem or sc superlight or dakar xcr would be good, even stepping up to a trance or dakar xct or spitfire would probably be ok.markka said:Thanks I was on the fence on getting an XC bike or not for her. When will you guys realize that it's not funny anymore? Not from a socially conservative standpoint, but from an originality one. Older men like younger women. We get it. Move on.eurospek said:

I'm 5'4 (but not female) and ride a size S Chameleon.markka said:Whats a good AM bike to get for a 15yr girl she's 5'3. I'm going to go used so I can get more for the money. Also what are some good sites besides mtbr and ebay to find bikes. Smalls are hard to find. Budget is 1k and under. Thanks.
