So as some others have mentioned the Lewis River trail suffered a lot of damage last fall/winter. Most of the damage is now cleaned up with the exception of a few fallen logs across the trail. The washout still is there, luckily the forest service did some bush whacking to make a fairly easy hike-a-bike around it. Something tells me this wont be fixed for a long time, as you can see from the picture the trail is pretty much gone. I started down at rd 9039 and road up to the upper falls and took the road back due to time constraints, its amazing how fast that ride gets you back to the car...The trail is in good shape, not as good as last year and some of the lingering washouts from last year look as though they will go unfixed once again this year.
