Here is a shot of my 2015 Foes Mutz I picked up on Tuesday!

Anyone have any pics of really lightweight FXR 275 builds? With an 8lbs frame, I couldn't see getting much lower than 30lbs. Then again, people have built Banshee Runes to 27lbs, so I guess anything is possible.

I don't know, mine (a F275 medium size) weights 30,86 lbs. I think with DT240, carbon rims and handlebar, and a XC light saddle, may be a sub-30. But, ¿ worth it ?

Holy ****! That's insane! I'm blown away, that's far and away THE best retro build I've ever seen. Look at those parts, all in excellent condition, someone's been saving them up for a long time for just such a special project. None more worthy than the Weasel, imo. By God, it's like a rolling museum of classic mtb, pure porn.

Just a couple of quick comments... Not sure if you realise, but you've got the Shorty on upside down, looks better the right way up. Also, why the white tyres? I'm not necessarily criticising your choice, just curious.

So, how does it ride, ie. compare to a modern trail/AM bike?

Amazing ride with the 120s up front, leaves a lot to be desired in the modern rides I have. They're vanilla, this is definitely another flavour

As for the shorty it looks better this way in real life weirdly, plus the reach/height is nicer.

Ahhhh an 05. Im waiting on an 06. The 06 is suppose to be a little different. It has some gussets and is 1" shorter. What size is yours and how tall are you?

Only thing missing is a good fork. As good as that bike is it is limited by the Bluto. Get a Wren 150mm fork. You won't believe the difference. Go to Youtube and type in Wren vs Bluto and you can see the difference.
