Was at Duthie on saturday around 2-3 o'clock and left the front wheel to my bike in the parking lot of the church of jesus christ of LDs. If you know where it went please let me know. I'd hate to call Kona and figure out how much a new one will run me. :(

Wheel is a black eye sun rim
Maxxis ignitor 2.0
6" rotor.

Ah man, that sucks. You might want to ask somebody at the LDS church, though best to apologize to them for parking there first (use Cascade Ridge Elementary school lot next time).

Best of luck.

Thanks man, Yeah I called them with no luck. I know now where to park... and where not to leave a front wheel. :nono:

A complete waste of today though. Got all the way to galbrath to find a unicycle in the back of my rig.. Whoops.

You get the replacement from your LBS, not Kona.

Did you check through all the bushes and forest along the edge of the fence? It's possible somebody chucked it there in disgust. Also (and forgive me for being obvious), but you checked the LDS lost+found in person (assuming they have one)?

Good luck man,

Good luck man,
Unfortunatly, I have been up in bellingham. My buddy went and looked but I don't think he "went" looking for it. It would have been right out in the open of the parking lot.

I've been calling the LDS like crazy with no answer. As soon as I can get ahold of them I will ask and have one of my parents go take a look.

Have you dealt with them? I feel like someone should be there during the day, yet no answer... Thank you for the help. I hope we can ride together soon.

Hey - just as a heads up, extremely unlikely that anyone will be at the church during the day. All the people running the LDS church are volunteers, so they usually work normal day jobs, and are only there 1 or 2 nights a week other than Sunday. Also, the phone # listed online is sometimes just to a phone on the wall in the lobby, not really a way to get a hold of someone that could actually help you.

I agree with r1de, best chance is to check it out in person - have your buddy or parents stop by on a Wednesday night. They usually have youth activities going on that night and he could check out the lost and found (they do have one) in person, or ask one of the adults in charge to help him scout around the inside of building to see if anyone found it and put it someplace random.

Hope it turns up...
