Just want to check the price ranges for the remedy 8 (or 7 and 9) at your respective LBS.

I paid $2800 (before sales tax) for my Remedy 8. That included changing the shifters to SRAM X9 and rear derailleur to SRAM XO. I've never seen one on the showroom at my LBS, but it looks like their regular sales price is $3100. I got 10% off and the parts swap for good behavior

I paid $3900.00 for my remedy 8. I probably paid too much for it but I ordered it in March, and Trek had not yet sent any to the LBS in my area, so I paid the price trek was asking. I got the bike May 1st, I love it and have no regrets.
