Lots of the Homers seem to have supportive spouses/significant others. Can't say enough about my wife (Jennifer)... When the Homer jersies were made we were going through a budgetary period such that we bought absolutely nothing unnecessary (trying to fill up the savings account). So I had to pass on the Homer jersey but unbeknownst to me Jennifer got in contact and bought one. She then saved it to give it to me on my birthday (yesterday). She had a heck of a time trying to figure out what size shirt to order (but that's a tale for another day!).
