Got a new frame sans BB... Kona's specs show the Deluxe/Primo/Supreme have a 68x108mm BB, while the plain Kula has a 68x113mm BB.

Will an internal bearing 68x113mm XT BB fit in the Deluxe frame?

68mm is the right size, but what front chainline will that 113mm axle give with your crank? Should be 47.5mm.

I have (3) Kona framesets. Two 97`s and a 05. All are 68mm shells as are ALL Kona frames. BB spindle lengths depend on your crank arm offset. I can only recommend for a RaceFace Next. For the best chain line with this crank use a 107-108mm. If you`re using an older crankset such as Kooka, you`ll need a 116-118mm length.

I guess that's my question: what's the Kula Deluxe chainline?
113mm axle will give 47.5mm chainline with 752 crank according to Shimano PDF, so it should be ok.. Cheers.

Thanks, useful info. Already have a 752 crank so I've ordered a 113...

Pretty much any bike with a 68 shell and a Shimano drivetrain will be 47.5mm on the front. Since the other crank makers tend to follow Shimano so that their cranks work with a Shimano front D they also go 47.5 or so.
