I got an email reply from KS. Chris Han said it can be done but seatpost needs disassembly. It's for LEV DX but pertinent for this application.

I purchased a KS e20 dropper post for a friend's bike. I have had various versions of their posts over the years. I was wondering if the head can be indexed such that the actuating cable can be positioned for ideal routing like their other LEV posts?
