Never hear anything about them. Anybody got one? Whats are they like?
Fluff
Titanium frame... sloping top tube; oversize down tube and gusseting built as a freeride bike. Not really sure why Kona decided to use Ti to build a bike that is suppose to take abuse. Too expensive and quite rare if you can find one. Kona didn`t make many... maybe 30-35 frames.
I`m not sure I`d use it for any major hucking though. I`d be very sad to break such a nice frame. The bullit type drop outs are the same as the King Kahuna`s with rear disc capability. The gusseting is heavier then the KK`s and is only situated on the down tube. Built in the same factory as the KK... Titanium Sports in Wa, USA from Sandvik 3-2.5 tubing. I think it may also have a beefier head tube. Perhaps you`ve seen this...
