Sorry to bother everyone....just wondering if maybe anyone knew of an LBS in the central/south jersey area that has the Kona Hoss/Hoss Dee-Lux in stock? I'm in the process of buying a new bike, and I didn't want to finalize the decision before I tried one (being a big guy!). Problem is, of the two closest dealers I've found....one isn't there anymore, and the other doesn't have any in stock. I was just hoping maybe someone here might know of any shops that would fit the bill. Thanks!

I've seen Konas at Somerville Cycles (not sure of exact name, but it's the only bike shop in Somerville), in case it's not one of the two you're talking about.

I believe they have a couple more shops so potentially stock some bikes.

Good luck,

Maurice

Also check out...

Check out Wheel Life Cycles in Montgomery and the location in Hillsborough on 206, as both are under the same ownership as Somerville Cylces.

For sure, check out Bike Zone. They used to be on 206 in montgomery, but they have a new location on Route 27 in the South Brunswick area, just north of Princeton. They're primarily a Kona dealer, so it's a good bet they'll have what you're looking for.

Thanks for the assists! Wheel Life in Hillsborough was the one that sold out of the Hoss, but I wasn't aware of the other location/Somerville Cycles.....wouldn't have been much of a trip beyond Hillsborough

I tried to stop by there a few days ago.....the new address (3887 Rt 27)....couldn't find it. The only place relatively close to that number was a small shopping center that had no bike shop in it. The rest of the stuff 'round there were either auto body shops or agrarian based enterprises. Of course, forgot the cellphone when I went!

I tell you, it's getting very tough to keep myself from just plunking down the cash on the F600......don't want to short-change myself on the decision making process, but on the other hand I want to ride!!

Again, thanks for the help, guys...

Just an update, for anyone interested...

Just called Wheel Life and Somervile.....nada. Word seems to be that the stock is gone until the 05's come out, with nothing concrete on when that might be. Tried to call Bike Zone, but the phone number listed for Bike Zone answers as 'Floral Expressions', or something like that......so I guess I'm SOL in that respect.

Sorry hard case

Sorry about Bike Zone. Thanks for the heads up though, I was actually going to stop by there the other day. Now I know not to. Good luck in your search.

the wheel life cycle shop in montgomery is on the south bound side of 206, it is in a strip mall right before the intersection with 518. Look for a wawa on the left, the strip mall is almost directly across the street. Once you enter the strip mall property, the bike shop is in the far right corner. They did have some konas in there the last time i was there(about a month or so ago), and they seemed pretty helpful to try and get you what you want. I asked about a couple different frames and they said none of them should be a problem.
