Hi. I'm from Spain and I'm sorry for my English.
I found a deal for a Kona Cadabra 2010 and I'm trying to figure out if it's the right size for me. The bike is 17" and I'm 172cm (5.643 feet ?!).
Anyone who has this model and can advise me?
Thanks

According to my understanding that should be spot on size for you. I raced one Enduro race last summer on 18" cadabra which was little small for me, but I'm more than 10cm taller that you are. 17" shuold be right size for you. It's great bike though.

Hi!

I'm 184cm (aprox 6ft) and I'm also thinking about bying a Cadabra. I don't have a dealer close to me so I'm ordering online.. I'm really torn between 18" or a 20" (the 19" is sold out). Are you about my hight? What do you recommend? And why?

Thanx!

Hi, we are almost same hight. I'm 185cm. I actually had 2011 Abracadabra this summer as my race bike. Abracadabra has identical frame to cadabra. Mine was in size 19", and I had 60mm stem on it. (orginal is 90mm). Kona's geometry changed in these bikes between 2010 and 2011, Toptube became longer, allowing to use shorter even shorter stems and I should have taken 18" size of the 2011 bike. Now I will get 2012 Abracadabra as soon as it's available here, and that will be in size 18". So for 2011 or 2012 bikes I'd really recommend you 18" size that's spot on. Actually, same thing if the bike is 2010 model, but then maybe little longer stem.

Thanx Prestige! That was what I wanted to hear

I'll probably place my order today. By the way... You've ridden the abracadabra a while now.. Have the magic link worked problemfree? Easy maintenance? Any problems? How do you think it will hold up over several years of riding?

Magic link has worked flawlessly, and it is awesome. I'm surprised that it isn't more famous. Only maintenance i've needed to do is cleaning it. When riding in dry and dusty terrain it can become squeaky after some time, and cleaning it takes 5 minutes after you learn how to do it. My friend has very actively and aggressively used the 2010 model now for two seasons without any problem. So for what it seem it will hold up several years without problems.
