I was lucky enough to ride at Kolapore testerday, and was kind of shocked at the damage in the 10th & 6th line areas. Sorry I can't be more descriptive than that, but tons of trees were down and the logging road really seemed to be in rough shape.

It was only my 3rd time there (first this year) and I rode the same route as prior times from memory.

When I got to those sections, I barely recognized it.

Does anyone know what's going on there or what the plans are for it?

Thanks

p.s. for a trail update, there was still a fair bit of mud on the lower sections and in particular on the ATV trails.

Logging is an ongoing activity in the trail sections known at County forest and Marc's folly. These areas are managed by the county of Grey for mixed uses including commercial timber harvest. Marc's folly was cut last fall, but I don't know what this year's schedule is. Elsewhere in the trail network, you should not be encountering any logging impact.

thanks for the info Kay.

Still loved the ride but I feared the worst when I saw the trees down.
