I just changed the seals on my solo air now when the fork tops there is a clunk and it feels like there is a little play. Maybe a couple of mils. I took out the bolts and reinstlled them, with no luck. The rebound side is leaking out the bottom a bit. I may need a new crush washer. Has anyone else experianced this "looseness" at top out.

So all you did was remove foot nuts, remove the lowers, replace seals and reinstall the lowers ( with lube)???


Did you open the damper? The damper could be a little low on oil, or the rebound piston could be loose on the damper shaft....hard to discern with you description....

I've got the knock at the top of my rebound as well. Did you ever find out what the problem was?

I had a similiar issue with my Magura Wotan, similiar design to the solo air RS forks, to fix I added a few cc's of oil to the top of the air piston. WOOLAH, no more top out.
