Hey all,

One of the XC courses I ride is mostly single track with some logs, off camber stuff, a small rock garden, and several 3 foot drops off a steep incline. I have eaten it a couple of times and always seem to cut up my elbow and knee in the process.

So far, no real issues. As I sit here with an ice pack however, I do have a few days where I would like to be a bit more aggressive (and hit a couple of larger jumps I generally shy away from) and was just thinking that a bit more insurance would not be a bad idea. Any suggestions on light pads; or do you just man up and take it?

+1. My only issue with the Kyle Straits is if you ride in hot/humid weather - they'll eventually chafe somewhere.

Another thought - the 661 Veggie Wraps.....
