Can you use the 9 speed KMC “quicklink” on a 9 speed Shimano chain (HG73)

I don't see why not. I've used Sram Powerlinks and Wipperman Connex links (which I prefer) and they work just fine.

I had one on an Ultegra chain and it worked fine.
