I just purchased my second KM about a month ago and built it up with gears for hauling my little girl up the local dirt canyon roads/trails. I've really enjoyed having a geared bike again and it's got me thinking about racing the geared KM this year instead of/in addition to the SS KM. Anyway, the geared KM is pretty heavy so I started thinking about getting a used hardtail GF. Anyone have experience on both and care to comment. I'm torn between either buying a used squishy fork for my geared KM or selling the geared KM to help fund the used hardtail GF.

Hey thanks for asking this, having a KM SS, I thought the greared KM was really heavy but really like it for a SS. I'd also like to hear from a lot of people who did this.
