Any body still riding true temper steel frames? I like the look of the older hardtail mtbs, and really like the durability of steel. My road bike is steel and weighs 20lbs. Was thinking about an older KHS Montana Comp. With a Judy shock. Any body have any opinions on this.

Greetings; yes, I ride (still) a KHS Pro FZ Montana and have raced with it. What kind of info would you like (helps to be specific). Good CrMo is a poor man's Ti (it is a top level tube spec when manufactured properly). That Ti / CrMo gap is a relatively small one by the way.
[Full XTR Grp. don't let that Tioga Revolver crank fool you, it is the original 2-piece ‘hollow’ crank of True-Temp CrMo Tube; XT cartridge HS; Manitou Mach Shock & Bar; Zoom stem & Micro-Post; WaveFlow Pro seat; Onza Ti Pedals; all Ti accessories - 23.5lb wet]

Cheers
