Not sure if this belongs on the NorCal or SoCal forums but I was wondering if anyone had info, tips, or descriptions about the DH course for the Keyesville Classic. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

I went last year and it was awesome. The xc course is pretty tame technically but it is a workout. It is 8.25 miles and you do two laps for the sport class. The downhill is pretty insane to watch but there are lots of riders in the vintage class that do it on full rigid bikes. Just about anyone can do it. These vids show the downhill

From what I heard there were alot of complaints about how "Easy" the DH course was last year. Could be they made it tougher. I heard they are still including the Snake Pit area.
Thanks for the vids and the info, I have an idea now as to what the terrain looks like.

You really should go. I had an awesome time last year. Camping is free too. I am just doing one race this year. I think they have a poker ride as well.
What is a poker ride?

It is a ride with 5 or 6 checkpoints. Each checkpoint you get to choose a playing card. Person with the best hand at the end wins something. They usually have lots of prizes and a raffle. It's not a race, just a fun ride.
