Kenda Nevegal vrs nevegal lite???

MBAction just rated the Nevegal lite the #1 tire. Are there two versions of this tire, the nevegal and the nevegal lite? Weight weenies (WW) has the Nevegal listed (640g).

The claimed weight of the Nevegal lite, (according to MBAction) is 595 grams. Since the (WW) listed nevegal weighs more than the claimed weigh of the lite version, I suspect there are two version, (All other (WW) listed Kenda tires weigh less than the manufacture claims).

Anybody know???

There are currently 7 versions of the Nevegal:

1.95 Lite DTC
2.10 folding/XC casing Stick-E
2.35 folding/XC casing Stick-E
2.50 folding/XC casing Stick-E
2.35 wire/DH casing Stick-E
2.50 wire/DH casing Stick-E
2.70 wire/DH casing Stick-E

The Lite also has smaller knobs.
Kendas always come in at or under claimed weight.

Are the Nevegal Lite Really 1.95?

I know most of them run bigger than they quote them to be so is the 1.95 really like a 2.0??? Does anyone know. I just ordered a BG 2.1 for the front and Nev 1.95 for the back and I am worried the 1.95 Nev will be to slim.

I expect the 1.95 Neve to have about the same size casing as the 2.00 BG with a slightly narrower tread.
