Does anyone knows if KENDA Nevegal 2.35 will fit Stumpjumper 04 in the rear?
If not, I will put 2.1.
For the front I am planing KENDA Blue Groove 2.35.
Any comment on the configuration for dray rocky conditions?
Thanks

I don't have that size to test, but based on Shiggy's website,
http://www.themudzone.com/tire/tire_site_files/specs/index.html
the 2.35 Nevegal and BG measure at least 2.35 wide, which would be *very* tight on the rear of my '01 Stumpy. You'll have to check your '04 to see if it has more clearance, but the 2.1 Nevegal/BG might be a safer bet. Keep in mind *stickee* means soft rubber, so it will probably wear pretty quickly on the rear in rocky conditions, although grip is fantastic. You could also run a NBX 2.3 on the rear, it's an actual 2.15 and it does fit the rear of my bike comfortably. They work well in these conditions too.

KENDA Cortez 2.4's fit.

I have the KENDA Cortez 2.4 tires on my 04 Stumpjumper Expert Disc and they fit just fine. Some of the trails that I ride are rocky and being Texas it's usually dry. The Cortez has been a great tire, they have good traction and I have not noticed any wear on the knobs after 4 months of use. I used to run Panaracer Fire XC's and the knobs would tear and be pretty worn down after one year.

If your not going to ride in wet conditions check out the Cortez. Check out Hammerheadbikes.com for good prices on the Kendas.
