Am looking at Karma as a rear (Nevegal on front). Nevegal is 2.1 and seems like a rear 2.1. Is the Karma true to its size as well. If so I would definitely choose 2.0, but....... Run a Crosmark 2.1 on rear now and seems more like a 1.95/2.0. Thanks
According to Shiggy's tire site (FYI: http://www.mtbtires.com/specs/kenda.html) the Karma 2.0 measures out at the tread at 1.91, however the casing width is a 1.95.
i have a 2.0 karma mounted on a stans rim at @30psi that is the same width/volume (visually) as a 2.1 Crossmark w/ tube @ 30psi on a standard WTB wheelset.
the karmas are a very high volume tire and feel much bigger than they are - similar in feel/response to the crossmark i might add.....
youll be happy with the volume of the 2.0
p.s. a Blue Groove is a better front tire IMO, especially in loose rock.
