Thanks for sharing those pictures Chad! Awesome pictures and the trails look outstanding! I think I'd feel right at home on those rocky sections. Mmm ... Mmm ... Good. I just wish they hadn't built Montana so far away from Pennsylvania. ;)

picture share

and a more recent picture of the barn remodel.

picture # 1

Brians bench is to the left and was cut from a pretty large douglas fir (which Shrek milled), one solid bench top....5" thick, 33 X 72.
my bench (one on the right) was built by my wifes grandfather and she's plenty stout...2X4's stacked face to face with three 33" bolts keeping it all tight.

picture #2

lots of knotty pine siding, a raised hayloft so the ceilings are 17' tall, and the opening to the work area are timber framed with rough cut wood using tendon and mortice joints and oak dowel pins to keep it tight (no hardware needed), new lights, new concrete, new entry way which deserves it's own photos. Gotta see it in person to believe. Come for a visit !

Super nice looking trails! It's starting to get a bit warm here (into the 90s), so needless to say the hills that were looking so green when your trails were under all that white stuff aren't looking quite as green now!

Gotta figure out a way to get out there to try those trails myself!

In 2002 I drove 3200 miles round trip to ride in the Black Hills, SD. I swore I would never do something like that again. In 2003, I drove 3800 miles round trip to Grassy Butte, ND and Black Hills, SD. That was just crazy. And you're on the far side of Montana. That has to be at least another 1000 miles round trip. With gas prices these days and my unwillingness to drive long distances, it would have to be plane or bust. It would be convenient to ship the bike to/from the shop. Hmm ...

I'd love to come out. I'd have to budget for that next year though. Do you have 4 or 5 good rides out there? Based on the pics, I'm thinking the answer is he!! yeah. If I come out, I want to get my money's worth.

The word is getting out

Montana is the place to go for your fix of pure singletrack smack. And this is coming from a guy who makes it to B.C. frequently, now how's that for a reference point! Very nice pics as usual Chad.

Go ride,
Dave

Wow! The blue flower shot with the sky and...

clouds in the background is AMAZING. You should enter it in a contest or at least have it blown up and framed. Nice work!
