Just how decent is the OEM Boxxer Race?

I'm looking at a 2009 Demo 8 I - It comes with the Boxxer Race. Is this OEM version a decent fork? Does anyone know if corners were cut in the manufacturing... such as steel steerer instead of alloy steerer, or anything like that? Is it identical to the specs on Rockshox' site?

Anybody out there using OEM Boxxers? How do you like them? Any issues?

never heard of any differences between spec'd boxxers and aftermarket
