After moving to Wisconsin from Colorado and feeling a bit depressed at the state of southern Wisconsin mountain biking I managed to get a Fall road trip in to Michigan and Minnesota over 5 days.

I started with Copper Harbor in the U.P. and I’m very impressed with the place. I’m going to be exploring a lot more of the UP, particularly Marquette and northern MI next year but it’s getting a bit late in the season now, however I’m encouraged but what I found.

I just completed my Copper Harbor series of videos. While the classic double black lines were closed this year due to land owners issues, there is still a lot to ride. The link below is to my Michigan playlist which it currently my Copper Harbor vids:

The Flow
Citrus Tech
Bullwinkle
Red Trail
Pauls Plunge
Whipsaw
Flo’Rion

Excellent videos. Leaf cover definitely creates challenges even when you know the trail. I finally made it up to Marquette this year (from SE MI) and after watching this definitely need to check out Copper Harbor.

Marquette is fantastic. Personally I'm still exploring Marquette and finding new trails. Year 2 is much more fun since you can ride with some speed/confidence!
