Hi There, I'm in the UK and lucky enough to have bought an oldish El Salt frame

As a newbie I would welcome any advice from old hands. It comes with a Romic shock, but also has a RP23.
It also has the adjustable rockers - I know this frame was originally for 4" travel, does it work OK with a 125 or 130 fork?
The bearings were semi-seized when I got it, but have managed to get them all to run smooth now.
Anything else I should know.

The USA is still asleep, give them a chance and I am sure you will get a few opinions. I would stay with a fork upto 120mm on that frame.

If it were my frame I'd switch the Romic out and use the RP23 instead and if possible wait for the new Reba coming out that will have adjustable travel from 80 mm to 120 mm and also have the 20mm maxle light option ! When I owned an 04 El Salt I went with 5 inch travel rockers and had a RS Revelation fork with adjustable travel , I think the new Reba would work really well with your Salt set up ! TIG.

I had a 2004 X-5 which had similar geometry.......it railed with a 125mm fork and 5 inch rockers out back. I second the new Reba 20mm TA.....that would be the catz meow :thumbsup:
