I have just picked up a set of juicy 5,s with 160 disks all round (not G2).

got them at a really good price (£100).

I have a set of Pike forks and want to convert the front disk to a 203

Is this advisable and whats involved?

No problem whatsoever... you just need a 203mm rotor and front adapter (for QR forks, even though the Pike is a 20mm fork, it doesn't need a "20mm adapter")

The roundagon is cheaper, but supposedly there are less issues with the new G2...

Or! You can even try Hayes v8 rotors. I have a few of these rotors. They've given me absolutely no issues whatsoever.
