I have Avid Juicy Disks, Real front disk hub and old Manitou X-Vert Super fork. I have less than 1 mm of clearance from the Juicy caliper to the spokes with this set up. I am switching to a Minute fork when UPS blesses me but am concerned that my just ordered American Classic front hub will have adequate clearance unlike the stories I hear about King ISO front hubs. Anyone with Juicy's also have an American Classic or WTB laser disk light front hub?

Thanks,

Art

should be OK

You should be OK. I'm running the Juicy's with the WTB Laser Disk Lights, DT rims, and a Talas fork and have around 1-2mm of clearance. Its very close, but I have not had any problems (been running this set up for 6 months).

If it is too close, you can always space the rotor out with some small washers though.

You can also "seat" the spokes. The spokes which pass out through the rotor side flange often flare a bit and can be pushed flatter against the flange using a piece of wood or something. This often will gain the extra clearance you need.
