do you think the blowout-like prices are due to the crappy performance/vibrating issues the stock rotors are being blamed for?

it's not like the 05 juicy 7 is vastly different, and it's not like the el camino is living up to its hype.

I think they are just clearing out old stock. Notice how after Jenson put the Juicy 5s on wholesale pricing they haven't restocked them again. Maybe Avid is going to start shipping the Juicys with round rotors again so they are trying to clear out excess stock by selling the old stock to distributors at blowout prices.

All speculation really.
