Is the scheduled Joaquin Miller trail work on for this Saturday? Assuming yes, what's the plan?
Yup there is work this Saturday. I've been busy with the day job for the last month so the plan is pretty loose at the moment. Thanks for forcing to me get this info out...

WHEN: Saturday January 20th 9AM

WHERE: We will meet at the parking area by the restrooms near the Sequoia Arena gate (off Skyline). Take the Joaquin Miller/ Lincoln Avenue exit off Highway 13 (Warren Freeway). Proceed up the hill (east) on Joaquin Miller about 1 mile and take a left onto Skyline Blvd at the light. Continue on Skyline 1.2 miles and take your first left into JMP. Circle around to your right to the rest rooms.

WHAT: We will be working on Chaparral continuing the work we started on our last work day in JMP. The goal will be to break the berm on the outside of the trail down to help get the water drained off of the trail bed. As always the trail work is open to all and is a great opportunity to come lend a hand maintaining local trails. BTCEB will provide tools and instruction so no prior knowledge is needed. You simply need to come with a positive attitude and dressed to work
