Hey yall...this will be my first time at the mb weekend. I was just wondering if everyone will probably be staying at the campground (i dunno where else you would go).

also, how much is it per night at the campground?

any and all info would help me out!

The cost of the weekend includes camping at Mauch Chunk Park Thursday - Saturday.
My wife and I stay at the Inn in Jim Thorpe. I forget the cost but somewhere around $125/night with breakfast. Very civilized. However, the vast majority of people camp. There are also other bed and breakfasts in town if you don't want to camp. Facilities at the park are pretty good though and there is a lake to swim in if the sun makes a mistake and comes out.

If this is your first time, be warned. It will rain. It always rains. Well, some time a bunch of years ago it did not rain. Instead it was god awful hot.

Other than that, its a great event. I've been going for so many years that I've lost track of it.
