Jim Thorpe Deer Path 1

Took 5 of us about 3-4 hours this past Saturday and we didn't get to ride too much, but we cleared every fallen tree from that damn ice storm off DP1. Now my legs look like I was thrown into a pit of rabid cats, but it was truly a labor of love. Enjoy!

What? Are you telling me that the Dear Path is open once again? :) :) :) :) :) :)
Deer path closed

No, open to hiking or those hurting and fishing with license, and on Sundays depending on how you read the regulations. There are people fishing up there on the streams. We may be doing a hiking maintenance day on May 14th. The Broad Mt. loop, Flagstaff, and most of Switchback is in fine shape. Coal Cracker/ Rim Trail will be cleared this Saturday. Plenty to enjoy without getting flayed.

Rain or shine for Saturday?

I'm driving in from Jersey and don't want to waste the gas if this gets cancelled because of weather.
rain or shine

Hey, I'm from Oregon, we call it liquid sunshine!

In Jersey we call it rain....

However, I've been investing in some biking rain gear so its time to see if it works.

Me and my folding saw will see you tomorrow.

:)
