friggin beautiful build!! ...dont crash or your stem is gonna twist. the twenty6 direct mounts suck as far as durability and functional design goes. i've broken two of them, each had one crash each.... but they sure look pretty :)

Thats very reassuring!

Will keep an eye out. It cracked all the way through or stress fractures in the metal?

One twisted and was messed up.
The other cracked in four places (fractures).

They warranty'd the first one when I sent a picture... so the customer service is excellent! But I mean, I threw the new stem on and had a spill and it twisted/cracked...

Everything was properly torque'd/spaced out... the design is just not very sturdy. My advice is don't run it in the 50mm position, I'd run it in the 45mm or 55mm position so that it has no where to go. If you run the 50mm, if you have a spill it will just strip through and one side will be at 45 and the other at 55.
