The Jay Challenge will open registration on January 1st 2006.
200 spot are reserved for the 3 day racers and an additional 300 spot will be open for day racers.

The Jay 65 miler is the last day of a 3 day stage race that is now considered one of the hardest Offroad stage race in the world. The course is for animals only. This is not a ride, this is a race and a hard one.

The top New England MTB racer will be there trying to fight for the podium.

Good Luck

I raced the Challenge last year. I can vouch for Dan's statement that this is a freaking hard race. I had a horrible day this past year for the race, and ended up being on the bike for nine and a half hours. No joke. There is enough climbing to make you want to vomit just looking at the elevation charts.

If you are planning on being in the NE come the end of next July, and feel like having some fun...I would highly recommend racing in the Challenge. I know I am registering as soon as Jan. 1st comes around.
