good setup for what ? do you want to do AM ? DJ ? park ?. the komodo is sick for what you pay, the SR duro cranks are actually very stiff and strong. I Demo'ed one of these a while back. I loved it, only complaint is the fork isnt the best. but no one offers a bike this nice for under $700.00

Theres your link, although its the Canada page (cookies send me to that as default) it should be the same except for the MSRP.

I have the '05 model, basically the same frame, it was a great deal for the money. I think I have one or two stock parts on it now (cranks, handlebar), but I still like the frame (basically the same as Kona Cowan geometry, except HT is a little slacker). The fork is decent, easily beats a Dirt Jam and most other stuff you find at that price point.

It was/is a good starter bike.
