2nd Annual Jacksonville BIKE FEST Super D
April 9- 10, 2011 Saturday and Sunday in Jacksonville, Oregon

The 2nd Annual Jacksonville Bike Fest Super D will return to historic Jacksonville, Oregon on April 9 -10, 2011. Mountain bikers will enjoy the technical terrain and the superb scenery of Jacksonville's Forest Park on John's Peak. This second annual Super D includes some of the most diverse terrain in the State of Oregon. This year Echelon Events LLC will offer 2 days of Super D racing. Awards will be given for single day participation, but the excitement will be on Sunday when the times are combined to determine the fastest racer on the mountain.

Saturday's race will start at 11:00am above the Motorcycle Racing Association's Lily Prairie at 3854ft. Starting in one minute intervals, riders will be blown away as they fly down the trail almost 7 miles & 2000ft! A 2.5 mile addition to last years course, offers a hill side with rolling climbs, banked corners & high speed fun. A couple of short but steep climbs will put them on some of the best trails Southern Oregon has to offer.

Sunday, we move east on the mountain and offer a new epic course. Racers will start at 3245ft, and blast through 4 miles and drop 1000ft! This course will test every riders nerve and resolve as well as their bike handling skills. As you descend down, you will find the terrain changes from smooth, to sandy, to everything in between. Dropping into the treeline, you will be greeted again by banked turns, beautiful views, & insane pleasure.
Sunday's event will be followed by awards and a generous raffle.

This race is a "MUST DO" for every racers calender. Bike Fest is a perfect warm up for Sea Otter or just a good reason to get out & ride, we hope to see you there! Bike Fest is sanctioned by the Oregon Bicycling Racing Association For more information visit , or contact the Race Director, Joseph Davis at [email protected]
