I love it :).
It's great for what i do. Dirtjumping + "freeridepark" (Drops, wallrides and so on).
Kinda low BB. So no 24" :/. And 175mm cranks is almost too long...
Other that that is great. Lovely on manuals. Great for some late night urban riding.

Sweet looking ride...

Sweet looking ride man...

I love the way the Jackal frames look ( Evil Imperial is nice too...) the frames look super chunky/bulletproof. Hope you're having fun with it.

Looks great! How do you like the argyle on there?

Thanks. I love it. I dig the smooth air feeling, and its not too heavy and stiff as a rock compared to my previous Pike. Perfect fit on a Jackal.

It is official..the jackal is the Red headed step child of the Santa Cruz forum LOL...

Anyhow, here's the final incarnation...

Will likely go singlespeed once a set of horizontal drops materializes...Been running the Pike with an X firm spring (I'm 215#s) for the last two weeks and couldn't be happier.

All these Jackal pics are making me want to take the blue Jackal frame we have in the shop and build it up. I swear they are the sexiest looking jump bikes on the market. P1 eat your heart out!!

I have a jackal too, but I've got some problems with the bottom bracket, because the distance
between the frame and the ring is 1 or 2 mm.
I have a crankset Truvativ Hussefelt 2:2 with one ring of 36t, I cannot put chainguide too.
Basically i'm desperate because I don't want to spend more money in cranksets.
What you advice to me? New BB? Other Ring (smaller)?
Sorry my English.
Best regards

I need help for my Jackal. My Jackel when i start to back pedal the chain will drop into the higher gear. i do not know why. Need you guys for advise.

My bike set up:

Chain: KMC X9 Gold 2005

Chain Guard: Syncros

Chain ring: MiddleBurn DH chainring 2005 size 38T

Or the problem is normal?
