i've been riding since 1996 and in all that time i've never wanted or had any desire to own a Klein other than a fancy paint job they got nothing going for them perhaps thats finally why Trek killed the brand because internal cable routing, over-sized headtube and sea mist green or lava orange colors just weren't enough to keep it afloat.

Klein did have a few nice things going but those Mentras were horrible from a look and performance perspective and the paint jobs, sickening, not in a good way IMO, they stretched the 80's into the 90's. If they sold well, Trek would have kept the brand going but the market decided otherwise.
