I plan on using cyclocross tires for my 29er (for road riding) but I don't know what ISO width to get without changing my stock rim :madman: . Does 35mm too narrow?
You can use pretty much any width tire you want, just keep the tire at least as wide as the rim (outside). Generally cyclocross tires are lousy for road riding though. Poor traction, squirmy, fast wear

Thanks shiggy  . Well, I guess that is my only option right now without changing the wheel. I just can't justify buying a dedicated road bike to be used only for base training. :D My wife will surely kill me.

Use ROAD tread tires! Lots of wide options out there. Everything from 25mm to 60mm
