I went back and forth about whether to post this on here or not but have not been able to get in touch with this guy and he IS a board member so here goes.

Ordered a Nut Tugger from ISuckatRiding/ Homebrewed Components about 8 weeks ago (middle of May) had my card charged 2 days later and was given a 2 week lead time. I got a shipping notification from USPS about a month ago but it never showed up that it had shipped on their site. I waited patiently and still have nothing. I cannot contact Daniel (think that is his name) by email or PM on here. No idea what to do now.

Anyone else ordered or been in contact with him lately? I don't mind waiting for parts but paying and not getting anything is a different matter.

This is not a flame or attack on his company, just a bit confused...

Not one to complain myself, but I've emailed a few times, PM'ed, posted on his website a couple times, not ONE response. All I was looking for was an ETA, already went and got a cheaper Cog. Disappointed.

You will get your stuff, he is but one guy turning out a lot of product. It took me 5 weeks to get a chain ring, but it is one nice chain ring.

I'm sure the reason for this is material cost. The material is not cheap and it must be ordered before he makes a chainring...if he doesn't charge, he probabaly won't have the cash on hand to buy the material...and then if you didn't pay you can always back out of the deal after he already bought the material.

I don't blame him, really...you know, with how many flakes there are and all.

He posted up just recently that he suffered some computer problems and was not able to get back to people. This was all posted in another thread where a guy had a similar problem. I think this all just went down the week before last (the other guys complaint). I think he also experienced some problems with his anodizing chemicals as well and was having to send alot of his stuff out to get finished somewhere else.

He also stated that he apologizes for not getting back to everyone and answering alot of the first time ordering guys questions (questions that have been asked/answered several times in the other threads) but he stated that he would prefer to be out banging out the parts to get them completed instead of sitting back checking email.

I can only say that he is very trust worthy and your parts will be coming. Unfortunately, he is a one man show and he is swamped.

I got a shipping notification from USPS about a month ago but it never showed up that it had shipped on their site.

I'm curious how you got a shipping notification that never said your order shipped. I got a shipping confirmation yesterday for a chainring I ordered on May 28th. The USPS site says my order left their San Diego facility yesterday. What did yours say?

I got my chainring, which was later than the 2 weeks (actual wait time was about 6-7 weeks), but it is a very well made ring.

Fit perfectly. Quality/finish is great.

your question has been answered many, many times in my thread. I dont make anything other than what's on my site right now.
I dont mean to be a dick, but like i said before, I was really behind and it was hard enough to keep up on emails for existing orders, so if i get the time to answer any, i really need to tend to those before i answer emails for new order inquiries.
I know this isnt helping my sales, but It's the best that i can do at the moment.

Johnny, i dont have anything on my list for someone named john or Johnny. Please email me your order confirmation. There is a possibility that i missed it. I'm sorry if you already emailed me.. Like others have mentioned, i've been swamped with trying to catch up after some equipment setbacks and i've been frantically trying to catch up.
I think i only have a handfull of things left to get out at this point up to today's orders, which i will be wrapping up next week. After that, i will be FINALLY on track again. It's a long time comming.
I'm really sorry it's been taking so long, but everyone will be getting their stuff shortly.

Also, if anyone has gotten a USPS notification but hasnt seen anything yet and it seems like too long, please shoot me an email. I dont check tracking info unless there is a problem, and if i'm not made aware of the problem, it wont be rectified.
