I've found that I need to up the psi on my Float RC so that when I remove the pump, the air loss after disconnecting brings it down to where I need to be. I've checked the pressure numerous times after inflating & I consistently lose 10-15 psi. Are there better options pump-wise that prevent this? I believe my shock pump ran around $20-25 but it's unmarked & I don't recall the brand. Not a major deal...just curious if this is the norm...

When you disconnect the pump, the air coming out is just from the pump and hose itself. The valve to the shock is already closed at that point.

When you reconnect the pump, the air bleeds from the shock into the pump/hose, and that's where you're losing the 10-15lbs.

Pump guages vary in accuracy as well, so just figure out what your pump reads when it works for you, and stick with it, whether it leaks when you disconnect or not.
