Another XO thread



I think it's cosmetic. However if it was a RaceFace crank I would replace it immediately (passive aggressive dig).

I want eeWings (I know, I should be called horrible names), which made me remember about the rock strike, which made me think about a previous catastrophic RaceFace failure, which then occurred to me that this potentially could be some serious shite (Shame on me for not rolling on XTs).

I wouldn't ride that. Look at it, there is a chunk of carbon missing. Who knows if there is a crack you can't see. A crank failure isn't going to end well.

Just get some hollow tech SLX or XT cranks. They are just as light.
