This was my original thought for a all XT motolite but the racer x deal came up

Buy this bike

and this frame

and swap over all the parts and sell the IBEX fram on ebay.
You'd be lucky to get $200 for the ibex frame. That frame is just plain dangerous from the pictures I've seen in the Ibex forum. And the wheels that come on that bike are crap. Get your parts on ebay or chainreaction cycles you can build up a Motolite with top grade parts for under $2500

I'm not an expert but the wouldn't the icing left add up to more than my original plan even if I only cleared $200 back on the frame.

Which bike...

You should probably determine if a large Motolite or a Xlarge Racer X suits your needs. Two different bikes and fit.
You are about 100 miles from the Titus demo center at Hueston Woods State Park. You can ckeck out several different bikes, even a couple RX29ers before deciding.
After that you will have a good basis for your decision.
