It's a new old stock trek 930, 98 model I believe. Guy wants $240 +shipping for it. All stx components, frame made in usa...matrix wheels. 18" frame would fit me perfect.

Yeah, it's brand new. It was hanging in an LBS for over 8 years. I've seen pictures of it...not a scratch or speck of mud anywhere.

i would say so....i work at a used bike shop and we have a bike like that now but it has been used for around $250

I had a 930. It was my first "Real" mountain bike. Bought it in 1996(?) for $500.

A great, solid bike. Good lightweight rims, and the STX components were durable. I hated the Grip-shift, though, and converted to LX RapidFire shifter/brake levers

not a bad deal if it's indeed NOS. just for the fact it's almost 10 yrs old, I'd shoot for not over $250 shipped.
